Full Moon Hikes. An opportunity to join one of Red Sea’s Astronomy Team for a nocturnal adventure. This includes everything from renting specially equipped telescopes to beginner and advanced-level workshops on photographing celestial bodies.
The Red Sea will become the largest Dark Skies Reservation in the world to protect the nocturnal environment.
The Red Sea Inland Hiking Adventures
The destination offers beautiful and dramatic topography where dunes meet red granite rocks and mountains.
Each level offers multiple challenging trails of considerable length, 1km to 10km for all abilities with a diverse cultural potential with Petroglyphs, Stone Circles, Scattered Agricultural Settlements, and Nomadic Herders.
The setting provides the perfect opportunity to deliver diverse activity options such as hiking, biking, climbing, trail running, desert safari, sand boarding, conservation tours, camels in the wild, birdwatching experiences, visiting ancient archeological sites, and more.
Explore the Underwater of The Red Sea
While there’s an abundance of adventures waiting to be discovered both on and off the coast of the Red Sea, arguably the main attraction for guests can be found beneath the sea’s surface.
The Red Sea is home to the world's fourth-largest barrier reef system, is estimated to host approximately 210 species of hard corals and 120 species of soft corals. The reefs are surprisingly resilient, at a time when globally, these environments are under serious strain.
Divers will capture what lies beneath the Red Sea, one of the most untouched and protected archipelagoes on the planet, the reef system and marine life awaits in abundance.
The brightly colored coral gardens that make up this vast and unspoiled barrier reef are a playground for scuba divers, snorkelers, and free divers, and this living aquarium brims with seasonal aggregations of some of the planet’s most mesmerizing marine creatures. Snapper, grouper, wrasse, and eel play peekaboo with smaller fish between the nooks and crannies of the coral.
Divers will explore the rich diversity of the Red Sea’s habitats, flora, and fauna. These include a significant number of endangered and critically endangered species such as the Halavi Guitarfish, Hawksbill Sea Turtle, and more.
